Getting Started

1. Create Your Account

Sign up at /auth/signup?role=merchant. You can be both a merchant and an affiliate.

2. Connect Stripe

Go to Settings and click Connect Stripe. This uses Stripe OAuth to give PartnerForge read access to your webhooks for conversion tracking.

3. Create a Program

Go to Programs → Create Program. Set your:

• Commission type: One-time, recurring, or tiered
• Commission rate: Percentage or fixed amount per sale
• Cookie window: How long the referral cookie lasts (default: 90 days)
• Auto-approve: Whether affiliates are approved instantly or require review

4. Install the Tracking Script

Add this snippet to every page of your site, before </body>:

The script automatically:

• Detects ?ref=, ?via=, ?aff= URL parameters
• Registers clicks with our API and sets a first-party cookie
• Detects Stripe Payment Links, Pricing Tables, and Checkout forms
• Adds client_reference_id for conversion attribution

5. Verify Installation

Visit your site with ?ref=test appended to the URL. In your dashboard, you should see a new click recorded.

6. Invite Affiliates or Let the Marketplace Find Them

Your program is automatically listed on our marketplace. Affiliates can browse, apply, and start promoting. You can also generate direct invite links from your Affiliates page.
