Getting Started
Is PartnerForge free for affiliates?
Yes. Always. Creating an account, joining programs, and earning commissions costs nothing. We make money from merchant subscriptions, not affiliate fees.
How do I find programs to promote?
Browse the PartnerForge marketplace. You can filter by category, commission rate, cookie window, and gravity score. Higher gravity means more affiliates are successfully earning.
How do I join a program?
Find a program on the marketplace and click "Apply." Some programs auto-approve instantly. Others require manual review, which typically takes 1-3 business days.
What is a gravity score?
Gravity measures how many unique affiliates have earned commissions from a program recently. Higher gravity means the program is actively converting. See our gravity score guide for details.
Earning
How do I earn commissions?
Share your unique affiliate link. When someone clicks your link and makes a purchase, you earn a commission. The commission rate is set by the merchant (typically 15-30% for SaaS).
What are recurring commissions?
For subscription products, you earn a commission on every payment the customer makes — not just the first one. This creates growing passive income over time.
How long does the cookie last?
It varies by program. Most programs set 30-90 day cookie windows. Check the program details before joining.
Can I promote multiple programs?
Absolutely. You can join as many programs as you want and manage them all from one dashboard.
Getting Paid
How do I get paid?
All payouts go through Stripe Connect. You will set up a Stripe Express account (takes 5 minutes) and receive payouts directly to your bank account.
When do I get paid?
Commissions go through a hold period before being approved for payout. The hold period depends on your trust score — starting at 30 days and decreasing to as little as 1 day as you build trust.
What is a trust score?
Your trust score (0-100) reflects your track record. Clean conversions increase it. Refunds and chargebacks decrease it. Higher scores mean faster payouts.
Are there minimum payout thresholds?
This depends on the individual program settings. Check each program listing for details.
Rules
What promotional methods are allowed?
Each program sets its own rules. Common restrictions include no trademark bidding (Google Ads), no spam email, and no coupon site distribution. Always read the program terms.
Can I earn on my own purchases?
No. Self-referrals are detected by our fraud system and will result in commission denial and potential account suspension.
